User guide in handling interface errors

Technical support

In the event that you encounter an error on the platform, several scenarios may arise, and for each of them, there is a procedure to follow in order to contact the support team.

General case

You have an error message that appears following an action: This message generally appears when a user action requiring communication with the remote server has generated an error. You can send the error message to the support teams by clicking on the button, which will copy the error message to the clipboard. If the message closes before you have a chance to copy it, you can retrieve it directly from the notification center: Once copied, you can send it to technical support via your usual means.

Graphics error

You have an error block which appears in the interface or as a modal window: An error prevented the rendering of a graphical interface component. The component will not be rendered and the error component will take its place. It allows you to view the error and displays 3 action buttons:

  • Button to copy the error message to the clipboard
  • Button to return to home
  • Button to reload the current page

You can try reloading the current page and see if the problem persists. If this is the case, you can try going back to Home and then start navigating again to the problematic location and see if the problem persists. If none of the previous two steps worked, you can send the error message to the support teams by clicking on the copy error message to clipboard button. Then send it to technical support via your usual means.

No error message

You do not have an error message displayed but you see that the application is not working correctly. You can check whether an error is displayed in the web browser. To do this, you must open the browser error console via the key combination : It is possible that when opening the console, no error message is present. This is because the messages only appear when the console is open. In this case, you must repeat the previous action so that the error is displayed or reload the current page in the event that it is an interface display error via the main menu of the application: If the menu button is not accessible, you can refresh the current page with the key. Once the error has been copied, you can send it to technical support via your usual means.
